The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton- review

September 22, 2012

I received an e-galley of this book via NetGalley. This was my first Kate Morton book that I read, and it was brilliant.
When I started reading the book I knew that something terrible is going to happen in it. Sixteen year old , Laurel Nicholson during a family birthday party she witnesses a crime. It was a crime or self defence ?
Her mother did actually killed that man? After  fifty years, Laurel is an actress, returning home because her mother is ill in a hospital. She tries to uncover the secrets of her mother’s past.
This book is full of mistery and suspense, the reader will want to find out more and more . I can’t stop reading the book until I finished it , it was such a good book.
The plot was  perfectly shape.  I love the fact that , the book also show us  the life of Laurel mother during the WWII.   I like the way Kate Morton writes , her writing is brilliant. I am looking forward to read more Kate’s Morton books.
Thank you NetGalley and to the publisher for giving me the oportunity to read this amazing book
